Grief tells us a lot about our hearts.  It tells us about what we have loved.  It tells us what we have lost.  It tells us what we miss.  It can also tell us about our deepest longings - those deep desires that have not been fulfilled.  Importantly, grief tells us that our hearts are capable of loving.

The grief process looks different for each person.  What is important is that this process be engaged.  When grief is left unprocessed, it begins to accumulate leaving less space for your heart to do what it is so capable of - loving deeply.  Through this process, one is able to honor who or what has been lost, learn about your own heart's capacity to love, and begin to integrate these gifts into who you are and how you live.

If you find yourself in a season of grief, please know that you don't have to walk this road alone.  I would be honored to partner you and serve as a witness to your heart.
